DEMA Announces Exhibitor RebatesTrade Show organizers and Association management have also negotiated lower material handling rates and credits for DEMA Show 2004 in Houston.
The Board of Directors of DEMA, in cooperation with GES Exposition Services, is pleased to announce that GES has agreed to issue cash rebates or account credits to eligible 2003 Miami DEMA Show exhibitors.
These rate adjustments are applicable to warehouse crated, show site crated and uncrated material handling rates and the corresponding overtime charges as depicted in the exhibitor's final 2003 Show invoice. There will be no adjustments to warehouse and show site special handling rates.
Eligible Miami Show exhibitors have the option of receiving either a credit to their account against charges for the 2004 DEMA show in Houston, or requesting a cash rebate. Additional information on eligibility for credits and/or rebates from the 2003 Show can be found by clicking on www.demashow.com.
It is important that any exhibitor who wishes to receive either a credit or a cash rebate contact GES. In order to facilitate this process, GES has set up a toll free number expressly for this purpose. That number is 1-866-531-4011. Alternatively, you may email GES requesting a credit or cash rebate at: email@example.com.
In order to receive a cash rebate or credit, you must contact GES no later than the close of business on June 30, 2004. A GES representative will be available and have the necessary records of your 2003 Miami Show charges to compute the appropriate adjustments. Please note that after the close of business on June 30, 2004, further requests for credit and/or rebates will not be entertained.
DEMA and GES have also worked together to develop more attractive material handling (drayage) rates for the 2004 show that are significantly lower than those published for the 2003 show. The 2004 rates represent a savings of more than $20 per cwt over those rates originally published for the 2003 event. Rates for the 2004 Houston DEMA Show can be found on www.demashow.com, by emailing DEMAinfo@ntpshow.com, or by contacting Joey Wilson or Kent Riffert at (703) 706-8242.
According to Executive Director Tom Ingram, "GES was instrumental in helping DEMA to develop lower rates and substantial savings for show exhibitors over the next three years, beginning with the 2004 Houston show. DEMA looks forward to extending a partnership with GES through 2007."
National Trade Productions will be sending material handling forms and Exhibitor Services Manuals to 2004 show exhibitors in late May. 2003 Show exhibitors eligible for a rebate/credit will also receive a letter from DEMA in the next few days outlining the terms of by which a rebate or credit toward the 2004 show can be received.
