DIVE IN DAY AT FLORIDA'S CAPITOL OFFERS LEGISLATORS AND THEIR FAMILIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO PUT DIVING AT THE TOP OF THEIR AGENDA
Florida Legislators and Their Families Will Be In Attendance at the Capitol as They Plunge Into the 2012 Legislative Session
DEMA will sponsor Dive in Day at the Capitol for Florida-based DEMA Member businesses to help increase positive awareness for the Diving Industry with important legislators. Florida is one of diving’s most crucial bellwether states, with the second largest number of new divers each year and the largest number of DEMA-Member businesses. Dive in Day will take place Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Capitol grounds in Tallahassee – opening day for the 2012 legislative session in Florida.
As a pilot program for DEMA, Dive in Day at the Capitol provides a fantastic opportunity for those in the diving industry to network and promote their brand. Legislators (new and returning), along with their families and friends will be at the Capitol building. Everyone will be full of excitement to celebrate this opening day, and DEMA has reserved the Capitol Courtyard area for DEMA Members to showcase recreational diving businesses to these highly influential people.
Those Florida-based DEMA Member businesses interested in participating should contact Angela Pico at firstname.lastname@example.org
or (850) 222-0720. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for participating Members. Space is limited so please RSVP as soon as possible. We suggest you use simple and inexpensive table-top displays that include brochures, product information, handouts and other materials to attract interest. DEMA will also distribute information to these Legislators and visitors which includes data on the size of the diving industry in Florida and its importance in jobs, tourism and the economy.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to have a positive impact on these important influencers in the Florida community.
