About You, "The Professional"...
How I was introduced to the professional diving industry:
Through my instructor training.
What I like best about my job:
meeting the people and enjoying the fellowship of my fellow divers.
Words of wisdom for those starting their career in the diving industry:
Patience and perseverance, learn from everyone you come in contact with. Instruct with and have an open mind. Nothing is written in stone. There are always variables. Students even today after 40 years still teach me something new and challenging.
Best way to keep a competitive edge:
Be flexible and be prudent.
Biggest change I have seen in the professional diving industry since I started:
The equipment. The goals of the diving student. The demograph change of the students taking the courses.
