About Ray Bullion Sports:
Working as a manufactures since retiring from the US Navy in 1994 has been very rewarding. I have had the opportunity to work some work with outstanding retailers and manufactures in the SCUBA industry. I try to offer customers personal service and lean about their business so I can help provide ideas that will grow their business which at the same time grow mine.
Goal(s) for 2013:
Work with my customers to increase their business. Find ways to increase foot traffic to the retail dive facility. This seems to be the question I hear the most from retailers.
Greatest achievement in 2012:
Being able to work with dealer to solve problems and grow their business.
About You, "The Professional"...
What I find most rewarding about my job:
The people I meet.
What I am most proud of (professionally):
The relationship I have with most of my retailer. The mutual respect we develop to work together to increase awareness of SCUBA to the non-diving public.
Greatest piece of business advice I ever received:
Never take advantage of someone they will find out. Treat them fairly and they will continue to grow their business with you.
Where I see myself and/or business in 5 years:
Doing what I love working with professionals in the SCUBA industry.
About You, "The Person"...
Favorite place to dive:
Palau, Yap and the Great Lakes
Most memorable dive experience:
Making a dive with my daughter, wife and one of my long time friends in Yap and Palau thinking that we all got to finally share this together. Seeing the smile on my daughters face after one dive she had see so much!
Be careful what you wish for you just might get it!!!
Something people would be surprised to learn about me:
I am a retired US Navy Senior Chef Petty Office and and Eagle Scout. I met my wife on a dive boat and I do own shirts and hats that do not have a dive logo or equipment manufacturer logo on them.
