About You, "The Professional"...
How I was introduced to the professional diving industry:
I started diving in 1969 on a Spring Break to Freeport, Grand Bahama from MSU. I fell in love with travel and the people I met from around the world plus a whole new underwater world.
What I like best about my job:
People, travel and I changed a hobbie into a career. When you like your job you never work a day in your life.
Words of wisdom for those starting their career in the diving industry:
Enthusiasm - love what you do and do what you love. It's infectious!
Best way to keep a competitive edge:
Read - listen to your clients and understand the needs of the industry.
Biggest change I have seen in the professional diving industry since I started:
Age…everyone is staying my age:-) We need more younger divers.
