About Manta Divers Inc.:
We offer all levels of scuba classes through divemaster, customized to the student's needs, schedule and learning style. For certified divers we organized many local and tropical dive outings to encourage divers to continuously improve their skills. Another thing that sets Manta Divers apart from other diveshops is that we have a nack for attracting some of the most interesting people to our dive team, making our trips most enjoyable. In fact, we are more fun than regular people!

Business mission/values:
Our goal is to ignite a passion for diving in our students and continue to fuel that passion in certified divers. Our classes are small, personalized and fun, with careful attention to safety.

About You, "The Professional"...

How I was introduced to the professional diving industry:
After earning my open water certification, I continued to be interested in learning more about diving. I particularly enjoyed seeing my sons get certified, and to see the excitement in their eyes as they discovered the underwater world. I eagerly took specialty courses and worked my way to dive instructor, with the goal of sharing my enthusiam for diving with my students.

What I like best about my job:
I love to see the look of wonder in the eyes of new divers when they take those first few open water dives. In addition, I am so thrilled to have former students stop in the shop and share the experiences they are now having thanks to being certified at Manta Divers.

Words of wisdom for those starting their career in the diving industry:
Don't get bogged down with the day to day. Enjoy every dive!

Best way to keep a competitive edge:
I give every student and every customer my full attention, return calls and e-mails as soon as humanly possible, and take as much time with them as they require. Customer Service!

Biggest change I have seen in the professional diving industry since I started:
With the downturn of the economy, I am challenged to make gear ownership a value. My strategy is to organize lots of diving events to keep people diving and having fun underwater.

I am most proud of the number of ordinary people that I have transformed into divers.
