Go Dive Now Pool Tour Participation Agreement - Addendum A

ADDENDUM A - Participation Requirements & Guidelines

1.  DIVE CENTER must supply adequate labor for the EVENT, and for set up and tear down of Go Dive Now Pool and associated equipment as directed by Go Dive Now Pool Coordinator.

2.  Upon completion of the EVENT and all required set up and tear down tasks DIVE CENTER shall receive a list of all Go Dive Now Pool participants and contact information (as provided by the participant during registration).  List shall be formatted in Microsoft Excel or a similar program, and transmitted to the DIVE CENTER via email or other means as soon as possible, but not more than ten (10) business days following the close of EVENT.

3.  DIVE CENTER may place up to two (2) pieces of promotional material in participant takeaway bags.  DIVE CENTER is responsible for printing, copying and otherwise providing these promotional materials on location and for placing materials in the takeaway bags.  Promotional materials may include any or all of the following items, subject to approval by the DEMA Go Dive Now Pool Coordinator and must be delivered at least one day prior to the beginning of the scheduled EVENT to provide time for Go Dive Now Pool Coordinator review:

  • Store course promotions
  • Free giveaways
  • Store-specific audio-visual promotional materials (ie: VHS, DVD or CD)
  • Store-specific flyers, postcards, or other materials that help promote diving and promote the specific dive center.

Dive centers may not be permitted to place promotional materials in take away bags if they are not delivered in time for review and placement prior to the EVENT. Please respect this time limit so that all may participate and derive the benefits of participation.

4.  DIVE CENTER may at its choosing provide store-specific signage on site in order to promote the store operation.  Signage dimensions shall be directed by the Go Dive Now Pool Coordinator , shall be in compliance with the venue rules for exhibiting, and shall be appropriate to permit the promotion of all dive centers participating in the EVENT.  Go Dive Now Pool Coordinator shall have the final decision as to the appropriate signage.

5.  DIVE CENTER personnel shall be directed by Go Dive Now Pool Coordinator during the EVENT.  DIVE CENTER shall ensure that all personnel provided are certified to perform the duties of the Go Dive Now Pool activities as noted in Article II.  All provided in-water personnel shall be current on their certification and insured for the period of the EVENT.  Typical duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Set up and tear-down of pool and related facilities
  • In-water instruction and supervision of participants
  • Underwater photography of participants
  • Tank filling and related operations
  • Participant registration and related operations

6.  DIVE CENTER agrees to comply with all DEMA directives and written guidelines regarding participation in the Go Dive Now Pool. Should DEMA find that the DIVE CENTER has failed to comply with written policies or with directives from the Go Dive Now Pool Coordinator DIVE CENTER may forfeit all promotional and advertising opportunities associated with the EVENT at the discretion of DEMA.  At DEMA’s discretion, DIVE CENTER may also be barred from future participation with Go Dive Now Pool for a period not to exceed two calendar years.
